Contest categories include grades 9-10 and grades 11-12. All submissions should be written in English; 1,500 words or less; in 12 point type; double-spaced; and about the theme “A River Runs Through It…” The top three stories in each category will be awarded cash prizes: first place $150, second place $100 and third place $75. Winning pieces will be read at the San Antonio Book Festival on April 5, 2014.
