Book It! Luncheons are an opportunity to sit down to an intimate lunch with a Festival author and eight companions. They’re based on the premise that everyone needs to eat while they’re at the Book Festival, so why not break bread with a Festival author?
For the 6th annual SABF, we offered four Book It! Luncheons at the nearby Club Giraud: Francisco Cantú (The Line Becomes a River); Elizabeth Crook (The Which Way Tree); David Litt (Thanks, Obama: My Hopey, Changey White House Years); and Luis Alberto Urrea (The House of Broken Angels). Book It! luncheons are ticketed and all funds benefit the San Antonio Book Festival. Luncheons are held from noon to 1:00 pm.
